Free Health Screenings at Horizon Connect Retail Center
Horizon BCBSNJ is offering health screenings at no cost to visitors to the Horizon Connect Retail Center.
These screenings include exams for:
- Cholesterol (Total Cholesterol, HDL and Total Cholesterol / HDL Ratio)
- Blood Sugar (Glucose)
- Blood Pressure and Pulse
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
*No Fasting is required for these screenings.
Early detection of preventable health conditions is important to maintaining good health. Screenings are
particularly recommended for those with a family history of serious illnesses, those above 40 years of age and those with high risk of developing health conditions due to diet, lifestyle or family history. Screenings take only a few minutes of time and are important steps necessary to detect and treat health conditions in its early stages.
