FREE VIOLIN AND CELLO OPEN HOUSE
Wednesday, January 16, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Parents and potential students (ages 4 and up) are cordially invited to a Violin and Cello Open House at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, at Moorestown School of Music, 301 Union Street, Moorestown. Hugh Bryan, violin instructor, and Kathi Stokes, cello instructor, will discuss the Suzuki method of instruction and give brief demonstrations of the instruments.
Both teachers have been trained in teaching the Suzuki method and are registered teachers with the Suzuki Association of the Americas. The Suzuki method is modeled from the way children all over the world learn their native language. Parent involvement, loving encouragement, and learning by ear before learning to read are some of the features of the method.
