UPDATE: A suspect wanted for the attempted robbery of a Mount Laurel 7-Eleven at knifepoint may be the same man who robbed the Pantry One in Glendora Sunday evening.

Gloucester Township Police say the man entered the Pantry One on the Black Horse Pike and Station Avenue at 6:53 p.m. Dec. 16 and confronted the clerk with a knife. The suspect ordered the clerk to hand over money.

The man stabbed the counter twice and the scanner gun twice before fleeing the store, heading toward Station Avenue on foot.

The suspect is described as a thin, white man wearing a black hooded jacket with a logo on the left chest, a black knit hat and a glove on his right hand. Click above to view the surveillance video.

A would-be robber burst into a 7-Eleven and stabbed the clerk in the hand, then fled the scene without stealing anything, Mount Laurel Police said.

According to the police, the suspect—described as a white man in his 20s, with a mustache and chin strap-type beard—entered the 7-Eleven, at 1155 Route 73, at 6:35 p.m. Sunday, armed with a knife and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect stabbed the clerk in the hand and fled the store. No money was taken, police said. The clerk was taken by Mount Laurel EMS to Virtua Hospital in Marlton for treatment.
