Moorestown Friends' Val Demuynck was a double winner, and teammate Cliff Burgess took home another first, but the Foxes were unable to compete with West Deptford's depth in a 120-62 season-opening loss at RiverWinds in West Deptford Thursday.
Demuynck won the butterfly in 1:07.09 and the 500 freestyle in 6:27.20, and Burgess took first in the 50 freestyle, winning in 25.45.
West Deptford bagged the other events, including a sweep in diving, to record the team victory.
