43 Moorestown High School Underclassmen Earn MoorArts Recognition Awards

When MoorArts asked the fine and performing arts teachers at Moorestown High School to recommend outstanding students to receive MoorArts Underclassmen Recognition Awards, the faculty had no shortage of names to share. 

On Tuesday, June 3 in the MHS cafeteria, 43 freshmen, sophomore and junior students gathered with their teachers, families and friends for an ice cream social and presentation of plaques recognizing their achievements in the arts.

It was a banner day for the students, whose artistic capabilities enriched the school and community in exhibitions, productions, and performances throughout the year.

MoorArts is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the fine and performing arts in Moorestown Public Schools and throughout the community. 

Proceeds from MoorArts sponsored events support MoorArts Scholarships for eligible Moorestown High School seniors and the MoorArts Grant Program, which benefits district fine and performing arts teachers.  Receiving awards were:
