Burlington County College
Basketball Players Earn Postseason Selections



 



Pemberton, NJ – The Burlington County College
(BCC) Barons and Lady Barons basketball teams ended their seasons with seven
selections to postseason awards teams.

“Burlington
County College student athletes excel on the court and in their studies,” BCC
Athletics Director Heather Conger said. “All of our student-athletes work very
hard and they deserve this recognition.”



Two Lady
Barons earned selections to the National Junior College Athletic Association’s
Region XIX Division II Women’s Basketball Teams – representing the best players
in the tri-state area (New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware):

Three
Lady Barons earned Division II All-Conference selections from the Garden State
Athletic Conference (GSAC), representing the best players in New Jersey:

Prescott, guard/forward, of Mount Holly, (second team)



The Lady
Barons (17-8) overcame a 2-6 start to win the GSAC. Prescott was recently named
the college’s “Woman of the Year” by the New Jersey Association of
Intercollegiate Athletics for Women.

Barons earned Division II All-Conference selections from the GSAC:
