Garfield Park Academy Hosts Assemblyman Troy Singleton

Willingboro, NJ – Leaders at Garfield Park Academy recently welcomed New Jersey Assemblyman Troy Singleton to the school, where he spent the morning touring the building and learning more about the services and supports provided to students with disabilities.

“It was a deep honor to have Assemblyman Singleton visit our school,” said Dr. Steven Morse, school superintendent. “He asked a lot of great questions and left with a better understanding of the work we do and the students we serve.”

A member of the Assembly Education Committee, Assemblyman Singleton is an advocate for all students, and as such, sought to visit Garfield Park Academy, which is located within his legislative district, which includes Moorestown.

Garfield Park Academy is a New Jersey state-approved, private non-profit special education school that provides effective, evidence-based special education services for students in grades K-12 who have a history of learning, social, emotional and behavioral challenges. Students are placed at the school by their local school districts, and attend at no cost to parents.
