Local Artist Joy Hoffman Showcases Watercolors & Acrylics

Joy Hoffman, of Moorestown, N.J., will showcase her watercolors and acrylic fine art at   the Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice Inpatient Art Gallery from March 1 through May 31. The exhibit will feature 20 of her pieces. A portion of art sale proceeds will benefit Samaritan’s programs and services.

“I discovered art shortly after my mother passed away in 1999. I was cleaning out her apartment and could not discard her art supplies. A whole new world opened up to me,” she said. “What started out as a hobby became an engrossing vocation. Art is a wonderful way to express feelings, skills and ideas.”

Hoffman’s work has been on display throughout South Jersey including the Dr. David Flinker Pavilion Art Gallery at Virtua Memorial in Mt. Holly, the Perkins Art Center in Moorestown, The Medford Art Center, the Markeim Art Center in Haddonfield, The Center for Arts of Southern New Jersey and more.
