The fire department supplies the applications and the graph paper for the drawings. All second-graders are asked to submit pre-planned home fire escape drawings showing:

1. Two ways out of every room
2. The location of each smoke detector in the home
3. Indicate a meeting place outside of the home
4. Display where the house address numbers are located on the structure
5. Show the proper emergency phone number for Moorestown Fire, EMS and police
6. A parent must sign off on the application with the date that the family practiced their designed home escape plan.
