Wagman Family holds 7th Annual Benefit for March of Dimes

On March 29, David and Stephanie Wagman of Williamstown, New Jersey held their 7th annual March for Babies fundraiser to raise money for the March of Dimes. This year they raised $15,000, adding to their 7 year total of $65,000. The event has grown each year, from 200 tickets sold the first year to 447 tickets this year.  The evening consisted of dinner, a DJ, dancing, a photo booth and a gift auction.

The Wagmans raise money for the March of Dimes to honor their daughter Isabella. Seven years ago David and Stephanie had a normal pregnancy but unfortunately their daughter Isabella was born still.  A nurse in the hospital connected them with the March of Dimes, who was able to provide them with the support they needed at such a difficult time. Since then, the Wagmans have formed a team each year and walk in March for Babies to honor Isabella.

March for Babies, the March of Dimes largest fundraiser, helps fund lifesaving research and educational programs aimed at helping moms have healthy babies. The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. There are 14 March for Babies walks in New Jersey this spring, most taking place on April 26 & 27. More information can be found at www.marchforbabies.org.
