YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties Announces New Board Members

The YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties has announced the addition of eight new members to its Board of Governors.  Each will serve two-year terms. Board members are responsible for strategic planning, policy development, raising awareness and fundraising – all to forward the Y’s cause of strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

“We are pleased to welcome these high-caliber community business leaders to our well-established Board of Governors,” said Tim Kerrihard, President and CEO, YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties. “Their vast expertise and know how will help us to further Y’s mission of providing much needed programs and services to the residents of Burlington and Camden Counties.”

Kevin Bush is President of Source4Teachers and MissionOne. Source4Teachers recruits, trains and places qualified substitute teachers for school systems in New Jersey.  Bush holds current board positions on the Camden City Public Schools Education Foundation, Cherry Hill Public Schools Education Foundation and serves as Co-Chairman for Source4Solutions.  He is a member of the National School Boards Association, American Association of School Administrators, and New Jersey Association of School Business Officials, as well as a member of the Advisory Board for Liberty Bell Bank. Bush resides in Haddonfield.

Phil Corradino is the vice president and market director of Beneficial Bank.  He has been an active member of the YMCA and assisted in fundraising in previous Annual Campaign efforts. Corradino is a volunteer CFO for the Checking for Charity Corporation and is a member of the Delran Athletic Association, Burlington County Chamber of Commerce and South Jersey Bankers Association. He is active in the Moorestown Breakfast Rotary and the Mt. Laurel Rotary and is a former member of the Y Service Club.  Corradino resides in Delran with his wife and two children.

Chris DeYoung is the owner and President of DeYoung Financial Group in Moorestown.  He is a member of the YMCA’s Camden County Advisory Board and belongs to various professional organizations including the Burlington County Chamber of Commerce, Moorestown Lions Club and the South Jersey Investors Group.  Recently, DeYoung was involved with UMDNJ in helping to organize their annual CARES event. He also contributes his time to Autism Speaks in South Jersey. DeYoung resides in Evesham Township with his wife and two children.

Meishka Mitchell is vice president of neighborhood initiatives with Cooper’s Ferry Partnership.  She serves as a mentor for new planners at Cooper’s Ferry, providing professional advice and guidance on planning projects, community involvement, and practice.  Additionally, she serves as a volunteer for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, a board member of the Settlement Music School and is actively involved at the First Nazarene Baptist Church. Mitchell resides in Cinnaminson with her two young children.

Peter Musumeci III is commercial relationship manager for TD Bank in Cherry Hill.  Musumeci serves on the YMCA’s Camden County Advisory Board and is a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey.  Peter is an active volunteer along with TD Bank in supporting numerous fundraising events held by the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties. He lives with his wife in Mt. Laurel.

Mike Regina is the owner of Big Sky Enterprises, a leading commercial real estate development, financing and design-build firm. He serves as a member of the YMCA Development Committee as well as the Governing Affairs Committee for Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce.  A former Deacon and youth leader, he now serves with the hospitality ministry and is the coordinator for Harvest America at his church.  Regina, his wife and their three children currently reside in Haddonfield.

Morris Smith is a lawyer and founder of his own law firm located in Collingswood. He has been in public and private practice for more than 26 years, concentrating in municipal and small business representation.  Smith is a member of the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States District Court and has been a member of the New Jersey bar since 1986.  He is vice chairman of the New Jersey State Advisory Committee to the United States Commission on Civil Rights.  He serves as the Affirmative Action Officer for Camden County and Camden City and is an adjunct professor of political science at Rowan University. He resides in Collingswood and has two grown children. 

Cathy Walters is President of the Walters Group LLC of Re/Max Power Central serving Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester Counties as well as Philadelphia.  She is President of the Emerging Young Professionals (EYP) and is an active member of National Association of Realtors, New Jersey Association of Realtors and Burlington Camden County Association of Realtors. Walters also serves member of the YMCA Camden County Advisory Board where she has taken on a lead role in the Annual Campaign.  In 2012, she founded the Walters Group Annual Golf Outing to benefit the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties. Walters resides in Mt. Laurel with her two children.

I actively serve the community with the Burlington and Camden County Association of Realtors (BCCAR) Community Outreach as well as serve on the Camden County YMCAI actively serve the community with the Burlington and Camden County Association of Realtors (BCCAR) Community Outreach as well as serve on the Camden County YMCA Advisory Board.
