Youth Soccer Kick-Off Event
The Department of Parks & Recreation is proud to sponsor its Second Annual Soccer Kick-Off Event. Join us on Sunday, September 15 between 1:00 and 4:00 PM (specific times for specific age groups will be announced prior to the event) at Jeff Young Fields on the corner of Lenola and New Albany Roads. This event will include Coaching and Team Assignments, receipt of team shirts, a Coaching Corner where coaches can set up their practice schedules for the season ask questions and receive assistance.
The Department of Parks & Recreation is proud to partner with Live Civilly Inc. and host the second annual Live Civilly Food Drive as well as the “Sports Swap” where gently used equipment may be donated or taken. Last year, thanks to the Recreation Soccer families more than 700 pounds of food was donated to the Live Civilly/Moorestown Ministerium Food Pantry and dozens of youth were able to pick up needed sports equipment. This year, Parks & Recreation is proud to include new community partner, Sean Fischel Connect, in the days’ activities.
