Another Round of Snow and Frigid Temperatures to Hit Region This Weekend

Less than half an inch of accumulation is possible.

Snow and frigid temperatures remain a possibility for the third time this week.

The forecast from the National Weather Service out of Mount Holly projects the possibility of snow showers on Sunday and Monday, with temperatures continuing to be in the 20s and 30s.

It would be the third time this week the area is hit with snow, although the forecast calls for much milder weather. Snow last week led to school closings and ice accumulation on Wednesday resulted in power outages throughout the region.

While roofs leak and roads start to look like the surface of the moon and rocks crack windscreens - lets HOPE at least it means less Asian tiger mosquitoes this summer..

Do U think the mosquitoes will not survive, they have been around for quiet some time so I do not think cold weather will stop them, oh well, we can do nothing about pot holes nor roads in disrepair, we pay taxes for all that stuff and get zippo in return....
