Code Blue in Effect Until Friday Morning in Burlington County
Extended Hand Ministries in Mount Holly will serve as a warming center during the Code Blue.
A Code Blue is in effect through Friday morning at 10 a.m. throughout Burlington County, according to the county website. At that point, officials will make a decision based on the upcoming weather forecast.
A Code Blue is declared when winter conditions pose a threat ofserious harm or death to individuals without shelter. A Code Blue allows for short-term emergency sheltering.
An emergency shelter is in place at Extended Hand Ministries at 275 Holman Street in Mount Holly. For additional centers, call CONTACT of Burlington County at 856-234-8888 or 866-234-5006.
