Tuesday Movies

Children of all ages are invited to join us on Tuesday afternoons throughout July for midday matinees and munchies. These movies about space and dreams will leave children starry-eyed.

July 10 – Space Buddies (Rated G; 84 minutes, live action)                                                       

When the Buddies follow their owners on a school field trip to the space center, they climb on board a new rocket plane, but as they’re playing astronaut, the ship blasts off. The Buddies are launched into space – on a ship destined for the moon! Can the Buddies make it back home, or will they become trapped in space forever?

July 17 – Up (Rated PG; 96 minutes, animated)

A man and a young boy scout find the adventure of a lifetime on a jungle plateau in Venezuela full of unknown dangers.

July 24 –  Muppets from Space (Rated G; 87 minutes, live action)

The Great Gonzo makes a shocking discovery: his parents are really space aliens from another galaxy. Gonzo has to decide if he should hop on board a UFO and go to live with his family or stay on Earth with the friends he knows and loves.

July 31 – Adventures in Slumberland (Rated G; 85 minutes, animated)

In his dreams, a boy named Nemo comes across the enchanted kingdom of Slumberland.  Nemo is given a magical key that will open any door in the kingdom, but he opens the wrong door and a black cloud of nightmares washes over the happy land. What is Nemo going to do?
