Community Corner

Get Out

Brides (and grooms)-to-be, basketball fans, poker players and Girl Scout cookie lovers should have no shortage of things to do this weekend.

Where/When: Moorestown Mall, 400 W. Route 38, Moorestown; 4-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27; 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28; and noon-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29

Why Go: Thin Mints, Caramel deLites and Peanut Butter Patties. Need we say more? It's that time of year again and members of the Girl Scouts of Southern and Central New Jersey are selling this year’s varieties of cookies at Moorestown Mall across from the mall’s customer service department. Besides being delicious, proceeds from cookie sales provide opportunities for troops to perform community service activities and to travel to places they otherwise would not see.
