NJ General to Speak at Moorestown 9/11 Service

The annual Sept. 11 memorial ceremony will be held at the Trinity Episcopal Church next Wednesday.

The Burlington County 200 Club will hold its 13th annual 9/11 memorial prayer service next Wednesday at Trinity Episcopal Church in Moorestown.

The guest speaker for this year's service is Brigadier General Michael L. Cunniff, the adjutant general of New Jersey. Cunniff commands more than 9,000 soldiers and airmen of the New Jersey Army and Air National Guard and directs, controls and manages the state Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.

The service will commemorate the 12th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks and honor those who died, and also pay tribute to all first responders.

The ceremony begins at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Episcopal (207 W. Main St., Moorestown) and is open to the public.

The Burlington County 200 Club is a charitable, nonprofit comprised of volunteers, with the primary mission of providing financial assistance to the families of fallen or injured members of state, county and local law enforcement agencies, along with firefighters and emergency services, serving Burlington County.
