Order Pastries and Help Kids Go to Camp

TLC's Cake Boss is helping raise funds for a special needs camp in Moorestown.

Here’s your chance to get some delicious pastries while supporting the Canuso Foundation.

The Canuso Foundation, which funds pediatric cancer research, is a supporter of the Moorestown Department of Parks and Recreation’s Special Needs Summer Camp.

For the past three years, Moorestown has sponsored a comprehensive summer camp for children with special needs during the month of July. The funding was provided by a grant from the State of New Jersey, Department of Community Affairs with a 20 percent match from the township. At this time, state funds are limited. To help meet the needs of the campers, a fundraiser, in cooperation with the Canuso Foundation will be held at Haddonfield High School May 20.

TLC’s Cake Boss from Hoboken is supporting the event by selling their famous Lobster Tails, Cookies, Pies and Crumb Cakes. Orders for Carlo’s Bakery products will be held through May 13. Funds from the bake sale will go directly to the Special Needs Camp being held at William Allen Middle School this July.

Members of the Upper Elementary School's Sibling Group, formed by Guidance Counselor Arline Conigliaro, are also supporting the fundraiser.
