Symphony Sound, Theater Performance at Summer Concert

Perkins Center for the Arts will host Moorestown's summer concert series Wednesday.

Perkins Center for the Arts will host Moorestown's free summer concert series Wednesday night, with a performance by the Wind Symphony of Southern New Jersey.

The symphony will perform light classics, pops and show tunes on the Perkins lawn. The show will be preceded by a preview of Moorestown Theater Company's production of Bye Bye Birdie, which wraps up its run this weekend.

Bring blankets or lawn chairs so you can comfortably enjoy the show. The MTC preview begins at 7 p.m., followed by the Wind Symphony's performance at 7:30.

In the event of rain, the show will be held Thursday night.

If classic cars is more your thing, Moorestown's weekly Cruise Night is 6-9 p.m. at the Moorestown Shopping Center's parking lot, 200 West Camden Ave.
