It's that time of year again, folks. Summer is coming to a close and Moorestown Friends School is preparing to reopen their doors for students while parents and teachers prepare for another busy school year. But don't fret, Patch is here to help you get ready.

Sept. 4: LS new student ice cream social, MS and US orientation
Sept. 5: School closed, Rosh Hashanah
Sept. 6: First day of school, grades 1-12. Half-day for PS, PK and K
Sept. 9: Full day for all grades; class parents meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Sept. 10: MFS 101 for new parents, 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Sept. 21: All-school picnic, 3:30 p.m.
Sept. 25: US Back-to-School Night
Sept. 26: LS Back-to-School Night
Oct. 14: School closed, fall break
Oct. 16: No school for 12th grade, college visit day
Oct. 25: Half-day for LS
Nov. 1: School closed, faculty in-service
Nov. 13: No school for MS and US, parent conferences
Nov. 15: No school for LS, parent conferences
Nov. 27: Noon dismissal, Thanksgiving break
Nov. 28-29: School closed, Thanksgiving break
Dec. 23-Jan. 3: School closed, holiday break
Jan. 14: Grade 8 to 9 transition meeting, 7 p.m.
Jan. 20: School closed, Martin Luther King Jr. Day (community service day)
Jan. 21: Grade 4 to 5 transition, 7 p.m.
Jan. 27: School closed, faculty in-service
Feb. 14-17: School closed, winter break
Feb. 19: Grade 6 potluck dinner, 6 p.m.
Feb. 24: Re-enrollment contracts due
March 3: School closed, faculty in-service
March 21: No school for LS, parent conferences
March 28: Noon dismissal, spring break
March 31-April 4: School closed, winter break

April 18: School closed, Good Friday
April 25: Half-day for US
May 26: School closed, Memorial Day
