DR. RUTH PERRY, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE TRENTON HEALTH TEAM, TO APPEAR FEB. 28 at NJ SPOTLIGHT CONFERENCE

Trenton Health Team Executive Director Dr. Ruth Perry of Moorestown will participate on a lunchtime panel at the conference which will explore the ways that primary healthcare providers, hospitals, and clinics are rising to meet the challenges of a costly and possibly outmoded healthcare delivery system using a new delivery model known as an accountable care organization (ACO).

ACOs are not a one-size-fits-all solution, according to the  conference host, NJ Spotlight. This conference explores the differences between possible approaches, and delves into what works and what doesn't.

Dr. Perry will be among the panelists in the lunchtime panel, "Medicaid ACO Demonstration Project -- Where New Jersey Goes From Here."

The morning keynote will be delivered by Dr. Jeffrey Brenner, a recent recipient of a MacArthur "genius grant" and medical director of Cooper Health System's Urban Health Institute and the executive director of the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers.

Event:     “Accountable Care Organizations and Healthcare Delivery System Reform” NJ Spotlight Conference

When:    Fri., Feb. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
