1,500 Unemployed as Burlington County Truck Company Folds

A Burlington County trucking company closed on Monday, leaving 1,500 people suddenly unemployed, the Courier Post reports.

Representatives at New Century Transportation Inc. in Westampton confirmed the bankruptcy announcement and said workers were informed prior to the closing, according to the report.

Hmmm. ? Same person owned Jevic/went bankrupt ? Closed the doors on employees? The full article has ABF trucking at their site recruiting this morning and Groendyke putting lawn signs near the building announcing they are hiring No mention of affordable health care, just a need for great truckers
