Gallagher Marine Establishes Headquarters in Moorestown

Gallagher Marine Systems LLC (GMS) today announced that it has established a new headquarters in Moorestown, New Jersey for its North American operations in a move designed to better serve customers and position GMS for sustainable, long-term growth.

The move to larger office space was needed to accommodate GMS’ growing staff and services to clients.  Highlights of the new office include; a larger and enhanced state of the art Incident Command Center and dedicated training center.

About Gallagher Marine LLC

GMS was founded in the early 1990s to provide owner/operators of oil tankers trading to the United States the means to meet the very strict requirements of the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA 90).  Among other things, this included Vessel Response Plan production & maintenance for tanker fleets along with Qualified Individual/ Incident Management Team (IMT) and emergency response capabilities throughout the United States.

Presently GMS provides national Incident Management Team Services, training, drills/exercises, environmental audits, contingency & tactical response planning, risk assessments and more.  The GMS client base spans many transportation and energy sectors including railroads, pipelines, power generation and transportation companies, ship owner/operators, cargo owners and charterers. 

Although GMS has grown to provide a vast amount of services since their inception, Incident Management for emergency response to oil & hazardous materials incidents on land or water, contingency planning, and planning/executing crisis drill and exercises remain their core areas of business.

In addition to its headquarters in Moorestown, New Jersey (Philadelphia/New York area), GMS also maintains satellite offices in Texas (Houston and Port Arthur) and California (LA/LB) in the continental Unites States , and representative offices internationally in Piraeus (Greece), Tokyo (Japan) and Marigliano (Napoli, Italy).
