Marc Vetri an 'Inspiring Sustainable Chef'

Vetri will bring his renowned Osteria to the Moorestown Mall soon.

Marc Vetri, whose new Osteria is slated to open in Moorestown in the coming months, is a "pioneer in the sustainability movement," according to Food Tank.

Food Tank focuses on sustainable ways to produce food, alleviate hunger and address obesity and poverty. The group named Vetri to its recent list of 11 inspiring chefs, including Jamie Oliver, Alice Waters and Jose Garces, embracing sustainable food practices.

Food Tank praised Vetri for his restaurants, plus the Vetri Foundation for Children, which the group said "has reformed school lunches in several Philadelphia-area schools."

Vetri plans to open the Moorestown branch of Osteria at the Moorestown Mall in the coming months. Read more about the chef's vision for the restaurant at Chef Marc Vetri Chats About Plans for Moorestown Osteria.
