Moorestown Business to be Recognized During World Trade Center Day

The Jet Pulverizer Company will be recognized as the NJ Member Company on May 8.

A Moorestown company will be recognized during this year's World Trade Center Day.

The Jet Pulverizer Company will be recognized as the NJ Member Company of the Year during the 12th Annual World Trade Centers Day annual Awards and Celebration at the Philadelphia Museum of Art May 8.

The Jet Pulverizer Company manufactures mills designed to grind any type of crystalline or friable material, producing product in the size range of 0.25 to 15 microns.

Micron Master mills handle materials as diverse as talc and diamonds, operating to precise specifications with little or no contamination or attritional heat.

The company currently has been exporting for over 50 years to the automotive, cosmetic, electronic, nutraceutical, pigments, power and general chemistry industries.

Export sales account for as much as 25 percent of The Jet Pulverizer Company sales.

World Trade Center Day was established following the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. Every World Trade Center creates its own signature event with the common goal of celebrating peace and prosperity through trade.

Each year, an individual member from South Jersey and a member from Pennsylvania are recognized. A company is recognized for its contribution to the economic growth and prosperity of the Greater Philadelphia region.

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter will present the Global Business Leadership Award to Agusta Westland Philadelphia Corporation CFO William Hunt. Valtech Corporation is the Pennsylvania Member of the Year.

Cherri Greg, Community Affairs reporter for KYW Newsradio 1060, will emcee the awards ceremony.
