Moorestown Firebirds Opening in Time for Christmas

It's the second new restaurant at the Moorestown Mall following Osteria's opening in November.

After a brief delay, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill will open at the Moorestown Mall just in time for Christmas.

The new restaurant was initially slated to open this past Monday, Dec. 16, but a combination of construction- and weather-related delays forced the company to push the opening back by one week.

Firebirds will open on Monday, Dec. 23.

“We look forward to serving Moorestown guests for lunch and dinner,” said general manager Tom Allen. “Whether you’re relaxing after a long day of shopping, dining with the family before a movie, or enjoying a romantic evening fireside, we offer a versatile dining experience no matter what’s on your plate.”

The 6,500-square-foot restaurant—located on the Route 38 side of the mall near Chipotle—will feature an eclectic menu, with items including lobster spinach queso, American Kobe beef meatloaf, baby back ribs and plenty of steak and seafood options, as well as a creme brulee cheesecake for dessert.

Firebirds will also take advantage of its liquor license—just the second restaurant in the last century to serve alcohol in town—with a selection of private label wines and specialty cocktails. The restaurant features an exhibition kitchen (where guests can watch the chefs at work), an indoor stone fireplace and outdoor patio.

Firebirds will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday. Holiday hours include:
