Osteria Moorestown Debuts Brunch This Weekend

How do chestnut pancakes with apple currant syrup and a mimosa sound?

The mall for brunch? Why not?

Exactly one month after opening its doors, Osteria Moorestown will begin serving brunch this Sunday, Jan. 19, general manager Martin Cugine announced Wednesday.

In addition to the pizzas, antipasti and other Italian-inspired meals the restaurant is known for, Osteria will also serve a number of breakfast-related items for brunch:  focaccia French toast, with maple buttercream and toasted hazelnuts; chestnut pancakes with apple currant syrup; grilled Fiorentina with sunnyside up eggs and peperonata, AKA steak and eggs;  cotechino sausage with polenta and fried egg; and much more.

Of course, mimosas, Bloody Marys and bellinis will also be on the menu.

The restaurant will be open for brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Osteria Moorestown will be the first to serve brunch. The original restaurant, on Broad Street in Philadelphia, only serves lunch and dinner.
