Progress Continues on Osteria Moorestown

Chef Marc Vetri continues to provide status updates on the Moorestown Mall Osteria via social media, last week posting a photo on Instagram of construction inside the restaurant. 

"Osteria Moorestown is in progress!!! And moving quick!" Vetri wrote.

It may not look like much yet, but mall representatives—and Vetri himself—have vowed the Italian eatery will open this fall, right around the holiday season. 

In an interview with Patch in January, the acclaimed chef said once construction was underway, it "shouldn’t take more than four to five months" before the restaurant was ready to open.

Vetri—who operates four restaurants in Philadelphia, including the original Osteria—has an active social media profile, regularly tweeting, Instagramming and posting status updates on Facebook.

Osteria is located on the end of the mall closest to Boscov's, between Payless ShoeSource and Aeropostale. Iron Chef Jose Garces' Distrito will open right next door to Osteria in 2014.
