Osteria Moorestown has an opening date.

Thanks to a tweet from the restaurant's newly created Twitter account, we now know when Marc Vetri's Garden State debut will take place: Monday, Nov. 18.

The tweet, which went out Wednesday night, read: "@OsteriaNJ scheduled to open November 18th! Are you ready New Jersey?"

The Italian eatery has been under construction at the Moorestown Mall since the summer, and activity has ramped up in recent weeks, with multiple images tweeted by Vetri and his partners and a pair of job fairs being held for restaurant staff.

Last month, Vetri revealed—again, via a tweet—that Osteria would open the first or second week of November (he was only a few days off).

Vetri, a previous Iron Chef winner, owns and operates several acclaimed high-end, Italian-style restaurants in Philadelphia, including the original Osteria on Broad Street. His flagship, Vetri, was named one of the 50 best restaurants in the country by Gourmet Magazine in 2006 and received the Philadelphia Inquirer's highest restaurant rating, along with a host of other accolades. Many of his restaurants are consistently ranked in the upper echelon of Philadelphia Magazine's "Top 50 Restaurants" list.

Osteria (pronounced “O-stuh-ree-a”) describes itself as a traditional Italian eatery specializing in “homemade pastas, thin crust pizzas or wood grilled meats and fish.” Vetri has said the Moorestown location will be very similar to its sister site in Philadelphia.
