Holiday Workshop Series for Kids

Additional Dreidel Workshop added to Schedule

This year, instead of a Tea, Perkins Center for the Arts is presenting a series of winter holiday focused workshops that are designed to educate kids while having fun.  The majority of the workshops are also drop-off so parents can work on checking off their holiday to-do lists, while their kids have fun at Perkins Center.   Every workshop will end in a celebration that will include refreshments and every participant is also eligible to win a "giftable" prize.

Featured Workshops
Dreidel dreidel dreidel- You'll make it out of clay!
Because of the large number of people interested in the upcoming clay Dreidel workshop, we've been able to add an additional workshop to the schedule.  Register today, only 12 seats remain.

Holiday Rock Sing & Dance Along with Sara O'Brien

Have you been wondering where those "Being Weird is Cool" or "I Really Like NJ" magnets and stickers are coming from?  Sara O'Brien of course.  Sara O'Brien and her music programs are all about music and self-expression.  After a sold out holiday party at last year's Winter's Tea, Sara is now bringing that experience back to Perkins Center for her first Holiday Rock Sing and Dance Along workshop.  Dress up in your holiday best and get ready to grab the microphone and feel like a Rock Star at Perkins Moorestown.  This sing and dance-along workshop features original kids music, traditional tunes and holiday favorites for kids and families. Parents are welcome to stay for the party or drop off your kids 6 and older.

Musical Instrument Workshop
Do you love music? Have you ever wanted to play an instrument? Then our Holiday Music Workshop is just the thing for you! Drop off your children to experience and explore the joy of musical expression through activities that will include lessons in pattern and rhythm. This mini introduction to our Conservatory of Music program will teach the basics of music in creative and interesting ways through games, fun activities and crafts. Participants will make drums and bells that they will play at the end of the workshop in a mini-concert for their family!
