South Jersey's "Million Dollar Party Girl" Cited as a 2014 Enterprising Woman of the Year

New Jersey’s “Million Dollar Party Girl” has been named a worldwide Enterprising Woman of the Year, and will be sharing her tips for entrepreneurial success at her first “Million Dollar Boot Camp” March 28 in Cherry Hill.

Enterprising Women Magazine recognized Lynn Bardowski, an Audubon resident, author, sales trainer, motivational speaker and self-proclaimed “visionista,” as one of the top female entrepreneurs in North America and beyond, in the category $2 million-$5 million annual revenues.  Bardowski is an independent sales representative for PartyLite Candles.  In 2012, she published “Success Secrets of a Million$ Party Girl,” in which she defines a visionista as “a woman who knows who she is, where she's going, and guides her tribe of leading ladies to the top."

Bardowski’s business acumen and message of self-empowerment form the basis of the first “Million Dollar Party Girl Entrepreneur Boot Camp.”  During the three-hour, intensive training session, participants will learn how to create a clearly defined vision for their own success and to inspire others, marketing strategies to launch a product or idea, and tips for developing a personal brand.

“This is a first-of-its-kind boot camp, with the goal of creating more ‘visionistas’ who can author their personal success stories while propping up – not diminishing – the women around them,” says Bardowski.  “I hope to make this a series, and envision a world tour in the future.”

Widely considered one of the most prestigious recognition programs for women business owners, Enterprising Women of the Year acknowledges those who have fast-growth businesses, mentor or actively support other women involved in entrepreneurship, and stand out as leaders in their communities. Many honorees also serve as leaders of key organizations that promote the growth of women’s entrepreneurship.  Bardowski, for example, is director of membership, South Jersey, for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).

This year marks the 12th anniversary for the Enterprising Women of the Year Awards.  Honorees will be formally recognized during an event March 2-4 at the Ritz Carlton Sarasota in Sarasota, Fla.

Bardowski built her business as a working mom, overcoming fear, failure, and mommy guilt to become a multimillion-dollar revenue-generating direct sales entrepreneur.   According to a Wall Street Journal Small Business report, just 1.8 percent of women-owned businesses generate more than $1 million in annual revenues.

The “Million Dollar Party Girl Entrepreneur Boot Camp” will be held March 28, 8:30 a.m.-noon, at Farmers Insurance Entrepreneur Incubator, 951 Haddonfield Road, Cherry Hill, N.J. Advance registration is required. Register at https://milliondollarpartygirlbootcamp.eventbrite.com
