Bring Out Your Child's Inner Artist at the Library This Winter

Help transform the Moorestown Library into a "Winter Wonderland" this holiday season.

It may just be turkey time, but the Moorestown Library is already thinking ahead to a magical, fun-filled winter, and we’re calling all kids to help us transform the library into a Winter Wonderland. Beginning Saturday, Dec. 1, we have two opportunities for young library lovers to deck our halls for the holidays and beyond.

At 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, join us in the meeting room for a very special Lego League event. Our theme is “Winter Wonderland,” and children of all ages are invited to build a wintry creation on their own or with family or friends. Snowy scenes, ice castles, Christmas trees, menorahs—design whatever says “winter” to you. We will showcase all the wintry creations in our lobby display case throughout the month of December. Then, when grandmom and grandpop come to town for their Christmas visit, you can bring them to the library to show off your masterpiece.

Beginning Saturday, Dec. 1, and running through Saturday, Dec. 22, children of all ages can drop into the Children’s Room anytime the library is open to make a fabulous, glittery decoration we can hang from the ceiling. We’re looking forward to a room full of sparkly and colorful hats, mittens, trees and snowmen, and we need your help to make it happen. Your creation will hang in the Children’s Room all winter long.
