Claim Your Summer Reading Prizes at Moorestown Library

Beginning Friday, the Moorestown Library will be giving out Summer Reading prizes—including stuffed animals, books and gift cards—to kids and teens.

The moment kids throughout Moorestown have been waiting for all summer has finally arrived—it’s (almost) time to claim your Summer Reading prizes at the !

Beginning tomorrow, Aug. 31, kids of all ages who participated in the library’s “Dream Big—Read” Summer Reading program can stop by the library to pick up pretty sweet loot.

Preschoolers who completed their pre-reading activity sheet will be awarded with an adorable stuffed owl and their choice of a picture book. Kids entering first grade can bring their completed sleeping bag reading logs in and claim a backpack with a stuffed dog and the very appropriate book, The Night Before First Grade. Children entering grades 2-6 who reported on at least 10 books earned a gift card to . The more points you earned in your reading log, the more money you will find on your gift card. If you read between five and nine books, stop in to select a prize from our grab box.

But Summer Reading wasn’t just for the little ones. Teens who participated in the library’s “Own the Night” Summer Reading program are entitled to select one prize for every three books they read. Our teen grab box is bursting with cool stuff, from flash drives to Frisbees, and of course, books. Four lucky grand prize winners will claim $25 gift cards to Barnes & Noble, iTunes, and the Moorestown Mall.

Hurry in, because the prizes won’t last forever. You have until Oct. 1 to claim your goodies, before they all disappear until next year.
