Town Hall meeting agenda released, blood donors sought

1. Moorestown Town Council and the task force looking at the town hall and library renovations will hold a joint public meeting on July 14 at 9 a.m. The meeting’s purpose is to update both bodies and the public on the project’s progress. There will be opportunity for pubic comment. The meeting will take place at 2 Executive Dr., suite 9A, in the conference room. View the agenda here.

2. The Low and Moderate Income Housing Oversight Committee’s meeting, scheduled for tonight at 7 p.m., has been canceled.

3. Tickets are on sale now for the Moorestown Theater Company’s Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Performances are at 7 p.m. on July 14-16 and July 21-23, and 2 p.m. on July 17 and 23 at William Allen Middle School. Tickets are $10-$20 and available at moorestowntheatercompany.org.

4. Celebrate National Blood Donor Month by opening up your veins for the New York Blood Center’s blood drive Friday, July 8 at the Moorestown Mall. Thousands of patients in the region need blood on a daily basis, and donors help keep the supply from getting too low. Donors must be 17 or older (or 16, with parental permission), be in general good health, feel well on the day of donation and weigh at least 110 pounds. Bring ID with you to the donation site, next to NY & Co. by Macy’s.
