Registration starts Monday for story times and other fall children's programs.

It’s Back to Story Time—and other fun fall programs—at the !

The Moorestown Library is gearing up for a fun-filled fall, and we want to make sure our littlest library lovers don’t miss out on the excitement. Registration for fall story times and other children’s programs begins Monday, Sept. 12. Parents and caregivers are invited to call or visit the library beginning at 9 a.m. to register.

Here’s a brief look at what’s in store for children of all ages.

Children under 2, along with their caregivers and siblings, are invited to Baby Time every Monday morning at 9:30 to enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, and a brief playtime together. Two-year-olds, their caregivers and siblings are welcome to Time for Twos on Mondays at 11 a.m. Both Baby Time and Time for Twos will run from Oct. 10 to Nov. 14. Participants do not need to register for these programs.

The library will continue to offer story times for 3-year-olds on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.; for 4- and 5-year-olds on Thursdays at 9:30 and 1:30 and Fridays at 9:30; and for kindergarteners on Tuesdays at 9:30 and 1:15. Registration is required for each of these programs.

You may call the library to register beginning Monday, but if this is the first time you are registering your child for story time, you will need to present his or her birth certificate by Oct. 1. Story times will begin Oct. 11 and run through Nov. 18.

Older children have plenty of opportunities to join the fun at the library this fall too. Lego League, a slot car racing demonstration, Halloween crafts and South Jersey Boys Read are among the offerings for elementary school children.

And of course, it’s not too late to sign up and join us this Saturday at 10:15 a.m. to meet , an adorable German Shepherd puppy who is learning to become a Seeing Eye Dog.

To learn more about these programs, be sure to visit our website or call the library at 234-0333, ext. 4016.
