Looking for a scenic, historic backdrop for your wedding?
Burlington County Clerk Timothy Tyler will be performing individual wedding ceremonies at the county’s historic Smithville Mansion on Smithville Road in Eastampton on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012.
“It is once again my pleasure to offer couples the unique opportunity to exchange vows at the stately Smithville Mansion,” said Tyler, who has performed more than 500 ceremonies since taking office in 2009.
There are a limited number of spots available, so interested couples should contact the clerk’s office as soon as possible to schedule their ceremony. Weddings will be performed by appointment, with the first wedding at 12 p.m. Ceremonies will be scheduled until 5:30.
Couples interested in scheduling their wedding ceremony at Smithville Mansion on 12/12/12 will need to obtain a marriage/civil union license from the community either of them lives in. There is a 72-hour waiting period to obtain the license once the couple completes the application.
Interested couples should contact the clerk’s office at 609-265-5235 to reserve a time slot.
The county will also be performing special holiday wedding ceremonies at the Smithville Mansion on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, from 4-8 p.m.
