Leaf Collection Schedule (and Other Important Dates)

Yeah yeah, it's still technically summer. But you'll be thanking us come October.

Yes, we know the first day of autumn isn't until next Saturday (Sept. 22), but it's never too early to start thinking about leaf collection ...

OK, maybe it is too early. But that slight chill in the air and overnight lows in the 50s and 60s let you know fall is on the way. So print this schedule of the township's leaf collection out, throw it up on the fridge or on your desk, and forget about it for the next few weeks.

As usual, the township will perform two rounds of leaf collection, with the first in District 4 on Oct. 22. Here's the complete schedule:

First collection:

  • District 4 — Leaves to be raked curbside by 7 a.m. Oct. 22; collection Oct. 22-26
  • District 3 — Leaves to be raked curbside by 7 a.m. Oct. 29; collection Oct. 29-Nov. 2
  • District 2 — Leaves to be raked curbside by 7 a.m. Nov. 5; collection Nov. 5-9
  • District 1 — Leaves to be raked curbside by 7 a.m. Nov. 12; collection Nov. 12-16

Second collection:

  • District 4 — Leaves to be raked curbside by 7 a.m. Nov. 26; collection Nov. 26-30
  • District 3 — Leaves to be raked curbside by 7 a.m. Dec. 3; collection Dec. 3-7
  • District 2 — Leaves to be raked curbside by 7 a.m. Dec. 10; collection Dec. 10-14
  • District 1 — Leaves to be raked curbside by 7 a.m. Dec. 17; collection Dec. 17-21

Dienstag, I think I can remember to repost this once we hit October. God knows I'll probably forget myself.
