10. Moorestown Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident in NY

Our list starts with a sad story from New York, where Moorestonian Andy Ananthakrishnan was struck and killed on the side of the road. Friends offered tributes in the comments section, calling Ananthakrishnan a “wonderful man and neighbor,” “true friend,” “calm, poised, smart, loving, engaging and energetic” and someone who “had the quality of raising the spirits of all around him.” Originally published June 8

9. Moorestown Splits Vote in Tight Town Council Race

November’s council race was hotly contested and anticipated. One slate each of Democrats and Republicans challenged each other, but voters decided to split the winners. Originally published Nov. 7

John Button lost his party’s nod to run in the general election, so he decided to run as an independent. “Operation Watchdog” zeroed in on a file-sharing site allegedly used to swap and view child pornography. The 17-year-old Moorestown suspect arrested was among 27 brought in statewide. Originally published April 17
