What is the Moorestown Library museum pass program?
It is a service that allows our patrons to visit area museums, thereby providing cultural enrichment, education and fun.

Who can check out a museum pass?
A full-service Moorestown Library adult cardholder, in good standing, is eligible to check out a museum pass with his or her library card.

What does the museum pass provide?
Each pass provides free admission, but please see the written informational sheet for each museum, since the rules vary by museum.

Is there a charge to borrow a museum pass?
No. Through the generosity of the Friends of the Moorestown Library, these passes are free to borrow.

How long may I borrow a museum pass?
Passes may be checked out for up to three library business days, and are not renewable. Checkout is limited to one pass per family at any time. A credit card imprint of the library cardholder will be taken when the pass is checked out and will be voided when the pass is returned.

What if I return my museum pass late?
The fine for an overdue pass is $10/day, with a maximum fine of $60, which will be charged to your credit card. On the seventh day past the due date, the full replacement cost will be charged to the credit card. Late fees for museum passes are excluded from Food for Fines Fridays.

Can I reserve a museum pass?
An available pass (one that is not checked out) may be held for ONE HOUR by contacting circulation staff at 856-234-0333, ext. 4014, and can be picked up at the Moorestown Library circulation desk during normal business hours.

Where can I return a museum pass?
A museum pass may be returned to a staff member at the circulation desk, or in the book drop. The case must be returned along with the pass. The cost for a replacement case is $5.
