Nor'Easter to Hit South Jersey Sunday

The National Weather Service is advising that the volume of rain expected could flood low-lying areas and inland waterways in our area.

If an average storm typically leaves water in your basement, you might want to have some buckets ready Sunday.

"All of the ingredients for heavy rain are coming together for much of the area," reads a report from the National Weather Service.

In addition to winds of up to 14 miles per hour, the forecast calls for rainfall approaching 2 to 3.5 inches total in Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.

That volume could prove to be too much for streams and small rivers, which will be on flood watch into Monday morning.
