Photo Gallery: Hurricane Irene Visits Moorestown
The violent storm's effects could be seen all over town Sunday.
Though Irene had weakened to a Category 1 hurricane by the time she reached New Jersey and her visit only lasted a few hours, Moorestonians won't soon forget her.
All over town, trees blocked roadways, floodwaters submerged homes and backyards and downed power lines caused hundreds of outages.
Patch photographer Ivrie Myhre and freelancer Emma Lee were out Sunday afternoon to capture the damage Irene wrought.
