Photos: Moorestown Halloween Parade

Parade was biggest ever, according to organizer.

Hundreds of children and adults marched down Main Street Sunday for Moorestown's annual Halloween Parade.

In fact, parade chair Brian Cooper—vice president of the Moorestown Business Association (MBA), which sponsors the event—said Sunday's parade had "the most kids I've ever seen ... It was a record turnout."

Parade-goers made their way down Main Street, ending at Stokes Hill where the MBA had face painters, caricaturists and a DJ set up. Prizes were given out for best costumes in seven categories, including "Scariest," "Cutest," and "Best Look-alike."

Upload your own photos and videos from the parade directly onto Moorestown Patch.

Well Done Brian and no doubt with help from your amazing wife Laura! You are both an inspiration and the true definition of community spirit and self*LESS*ness. So refreshing given the current divisive climate. THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO!!

The Moorestown Halloween Parade was an absolutely display of young Moorestown at its best! As I watched my daughter walk down Main Street in Moorestown with her peers and many children younger than her 10 years, I couldn't help to believe that these fellow Moorestowners who cherish this vitality will be the ones gathering on November 8th to vote "YES" on both questions and revitalize a Moorestown that is dying in its ratables and drowning from the "naysayers" and bitter "do-nothing, but complain" people who desire nothing than to see Moorestown become a run-down town!! So...all of the Halloween parade parents out there....help our kids grow up in a town that thrives in every way and VOTE YES!!!

Actually Ginger, I was not replying to you. There was another comment that looks to have been deleted about the Halloween parade that morphed into the other issue. That's what I was commenting on, not your comment. Since the other was deleted, I'll delete mine as well. I hope you're feeling better. ;)

My sincere apologies... You must understand how frustrating this site has become with the verbal assaults. I have tried repeatedly in vain to keep center and open discussions, ask honest questions, keep an open mind and be respectful but like anyone when your buttons get pushed so often at times you loose your cool. Again I sincerely apologize!

Hehe, no worries. To say that the topics here can frequently become frustrating if trying to hold an honest discussion, is an understatement.
