Police: Maple Shade Man Threatened CareOne Employees

Dec. 28

  • Jennifer Terhaar, 30, of Larch Road, Mount Laurel, arrested after police said she provided false information during a motor vehicle stop in the Kmart shopping center. She was charged with hindering apprehension and released on a special summons.

Dec. 31

  • Herbert Betts, 54, of South Maple Ave, Maple Shade, arrested after he entered the CareOne assisted living facility on Westfield Road and began threatening employees after he was asked to leave, according to police. Betts was charged with making terroristic threats and committed to Burlington County Jail on $5,000 bail.
