Poll: How Will You Vote on the Referendums?

Moorestown a week away from important vote.

Moorestonians are a week away from voting “yea” or “nay” on liquor licenses—the result of which will be either the lifting of a century-long ban on alcohol sales or the keeping of the status quo.

And while the respective pro- and anti-liquor camps have the next several days to continue making their sales pitches (including on Wednesday), chances are most people have already made up their minds.

That’s what we here at Patch want to know. Where do you stand on the issue? How will you vote?

Are you vehemently opposed? Are you OK with alcohol, but just at the mall? Or do you not plan on voting at all?

In the interest of fairness and honesty, we implore those who cast their vote in the poll to vote only once. No matter how passionately you may feel about this, your opinion counts no more (or less) than anyone else’s—and certainly won’t when you step into the booth next Tuesday.

The more people who vote, the better. So tell your family, tell your friends, tell your neighbors. Tell people who don't use Patch (and while you're at it, ask them why not?). We'll keep the poll up until Sunday at 5 p.m.

You'll notice the absence of a "'No'" on Question 1, 'Yes' on Question 2" option in the poll. That's not an oversight. Since the result of such a vote would technically be the same as "'No' on both," we didn't include it.
