Show Mom You Really Care

Why buy a card someone else made when you can create your own, and really leave a lasting impression? Moorestown Library can help.

Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and any mom can tell you a handmade gift from the heart can make an impression that lasts long after her kids aren’t kids anymore.

So instead of taking your kids to the store to buy cards, why not pay a visit to the Moorestown Library, where kids can create original cards any mom or grandmom is sure to love?

On Friday, May 10, and Saturday, May 11, the Children’s Room is hosting a “Make Your Own Mother’s Day Card” event. Children of all ages are welcome to drop in any time during library hours and use our construction paper, stickers, markers, glue and other fun craft supplies to create one-of-a-kind cards for the special women in their lives. And here’s a bonus: the kids will enjoying making the cards as much as mom will enjoy receiving them!

The library is open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday. Stop by any time and let the kids have a blast making thoughtful, creative cards to show how much they care.
