Tropical Storm Lee Brings Rain to Moorestown

The rain should let up by this weekend.

The rain is not letting up anytime soon this week.

According to Kristin Kline, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Mt. Holly, the Moorestown area can expect periods of rain throughout the day.

"It could be heavy at times and possibly even a thunderstorm," Kline said.

Rainfall amounts could be up to an inch and a half, however flooding is not expected.

"It's going to be on the cool side," Kline said, "with highs only going to be in the mid- to upper-60s."

The low tonight will be around 62.

"We are still expecting more rain Wednesday as well as Thursday," Kline said.

The rain is remnant moisture from Tropical Storm Lee making its way through the mid-Atlantic region, Kline said.

The high Wednesday will be around 79 with temperatures dropping to around 72 at night.
