Veterans Day Becomes Veterans Month at Moorestown Library

Military veterans can enjoy multiple perks at the library throughout November.

At the Moorestown Library, we’ve decided we need more than just one day to show our appreciation to our military veterans. So this November, we’ve decided to turn Veterans Day into “Veterans Month” by honoring our veterans in two special ways all month long.

Throughout the month of November, we are inviting men and women who have served our country in the military to join in a veteran’s display at the circulation desk. Fill out a sheet with your name, branch of service and when and where you served, and we will display it proudly in the front of the library.

Also, for November only, we are waiving overdue fines on library materials for the military veterans who participate in our display. Get your overdue books, DVDs, magazines or CDs back to the library by Nov. 30, and instead of getting a fine, you’ll hear, “Thank you for your service.”

It’s just a little something we can do to show our appreciation for all you’ve done for our country.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
