O’Reilly, a 28 year old Colombian native, and raised
in Boston, was born with a passion for music. His love for Jazz specifically
has elevated him to be one of a few consistently in demand jazz pianists in the
Philadelphia area, where he currently resides.

In 2004, O'Reilly received his bachelor’s degree in Jazz Piano Performance

from Temple University’s Esther Boyer College of Music.  He has spent time on the road with such jazz
greats as Curtis Fuller, Dave Valentin, Red Halloway, Slide Hampton, Nicolas
Payton, Bobby Watson, and Billy Paul.  He

released his debut album ‘Living in the Now’ in 2011.  The album effectively and inventively
combined elements of jazz, Latin, soul and spoken word poetry.

The Jazz Vespers service is sponsored by the 2014 Women’s Day Committee

of Bethel, and a part of the proceeds will go to the Bethel Food Pantry

ministry, whose mission is to provide food to hungry people while

striving to end hunger in our community. Women’s Day Committee Chairperson,
Gwen Ricks-Spencer hopes that this event is just the first of many for Bethel.  “We’re excited to welcome Luke Carlos O’Reilly for our first Jazz
Vespers service.  Jazz, as a musical tradition, conveys

the hopes, dreams, joys, frustrations and pain of the human experience-all

articulated by a musical vocabulary that transcends the limits of the written

or spoken word.  I think our
guests are in for a treat.”

A Joyful Noise will be presented at Bethel AME Church located
at 512 North Church Street in Moorestown, NJ for one night only, Saturday,
December 14 at 4:00 pm with refreshments to follow.  Tickets are $15.00 and may be purchased at
the door.  Parking is available at and

around the church.  Rev. Dr. Stanley Hearst, Sr. is the Pastor of Bethel AME Moorestown.
