A gathering of citizens interested in initiating action in the community with a goal of restoring our food choice freedom. Together we study the impact of the genetically modified organisms (GMOs) that are in our food supply, learn how to avoid them, and explore ways to increase awareness about this serious global crisis.
Come join us at the Collingswood Library on Thursday November 15 at 6:30pm for a GMO-free finger food potluck and recipe swap. Bringing a dish is optional, but if you do, make sure it is non-GMO and bring copies of the recipe to share! We will munch and mingle and then move on to our monthly GMO awareness meeting which will feature video maker Dana Master who will present our community video project. Yes! We are making a video that will help people see how easy it is to take positive actions towards healthier living, so come with your ideas for becoming more GMO free!
