The National Railway Historical Society-West Jersey Chapter

The monthly meeting of the West Jersey Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society will take place at 7:30 PM on Monday, March 25, 2013


Member John Kilbride will give a presentation on the Mercer & Somerset Railroad: Short Line, Short Life, Long Legacy. This is the railroad that was involved in the famous "Frog wars" of the 1800s. John will show us what remains of the little line as well as several structures still standing since the 1881 abandonment of the line.


Anyone interested in railroads, trolleys, subways, etc. is welcome.
